Airports
Edmonton International Airport is served by more than 25 airlines, providing air services to all major Canadian cities, and seven major U.S. hubs, as well as seasonal charter services to Europe and sun destinations. The new Edmonton International Airport terminal building boasts modern facilities and services.
Trains
VIA Rail's internationally known transcontinental train, The Canadian, stops in Edmonton. Rail passengers can travel east to Saskatoon, Winnipeg or Toronto, or west to Jasper, Kamloops and Vancouver.
Bus
Greyhound Bus Lines provides excellent service to Edmonton from anywhere in North America. Red Arrow provides service to Calgary, Red Deer and Fort McMurray.
Automobiles
Edmonton is on the Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway, which provides access from Winnipeg through Edmonton to Prince Rupert and Vancouver. Highway 2 is the main highway from the United States through Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton and Northern Alberta. |
